Chinatown: Retro French Indie Rock

Time for some French Indie Rock. Let’s just be honest for a moment: Quebec is far ahead of France when it comes to making quality French Rock. Could it be its closer proximity to Brooklyn? Just kidding.

Anyway, here’s the intentionally retro “Apprender a danser” (Learn to Dance) from the Montreal band Chinatown. Their album, Cite d’or, is a modern indie rock take on Francophone pop from the 60′s.
