The French Rock scene has high hopes for the French Indie Rock band Control Club, which includes two former members of the much-beloved French Rock band, A.S. Dragon.
On Control Club’s 2009 debut album, Morphine Ballroom, you’ll find songs in English, French, and even German, and a range of everything from modern Indie Rock to Punk Pop to Synthpop and New Wave.
Critics say Control Club’s album Morphine Ballroom sounds like a British band’s album translated into French, which sounds like a good thing to me.
Here’s the video for their first single from the album, “Inconsolable.” (UK users, download Morphine Ballroom from iTunes here.)
