If you’ve ever wondered what Christina Aguilera might sound like in French, check out Sarah Riani.

While I do enjoy the typical French chanteuse who makes charming little folk songs, once in a while I just want to hear someone who can saaang, and Sarah Riani’s got pipes.

Riani’s story is becoming a familiar one for French Pop stars these days: She competed on Nouvelle Star (France’s American Idol). She lost. She signed a record deal. She went on to become a famous French Pop singer.
